100 Qt Seafood Boiler Kit

Because if the size it was not easy to clean. It’s a very extra large huge pot. However it is very sturdy and durable. The assembling was easy and the instructions were very thorough regarding setup and temperatures I really appreciated that, I like that the measurements are in the outside and inside of the pot. I love that it came with a stand.

Our FEASTO 100QT Aluminum Boil Kit with Basket is huge, big enough to cook up everything for a boil all at once. We used to use what we thought of as a "big" stock pot for this, but with that we hod to cook batches, meaning the meals were often start-and-stop affairs and the chef (usually me) was stuck at the boiler more than at the table with the guests. Now we're looking forward to boils where everyone eats together and has plenty. Assembling the FEASTO 100QT Aluminum Boil Kit with Basket was easy, requiring only a screwdriver and a wrench (a small assembly wrench is included, though I used a larger one to better tighten the bolts). A good instruction manual is included covering assembly, operation, troubleshooting and cleaning. There are no recipes included, but for first-timers there are many available, including multiple cookbooks right on Amazon. We can't wait for our first boil party for this year, right at the lake. Yum!

The pot is very sturdy, with heavy-duty handles. The basket is likewise very sturdy. There are thoughtful features, such as the brackets on the interior of the pot and exterior of the basket that allow you to hang the basket for draining, and the disk on the lid that allows you to hang it on the side of the pot. The maximum recommended liquid capacity is 12 gallons, and the powerful burner had it at a boil in 45 minutes.

On assembling the stand, I discovered the wire from the piezo to the control box had been cut. I e-mailed the company and received a prompt response. The replacement part arrived 3 days later.
