FEASTO KT2435E is a freestanding 5-burner outdoor propane gas stove for backyard kitchens and patio cooking. Its exposed burners deliver a combined 36,200 BTU for cooking with pots and pans. The 35.4 × 26 × 39 in cooking station has a stainless steel cooktop, an enclosed storage cabinet, and four locking swivel casters. It is an open-burner stove rather than a lidded BBQ grill. KT2435E does not include a protective cover; AP-KT2435E is the same stove sold with a cover.

KT2435E questions & owner's manual

What fuel does the KT2435E use?

It uses LP propane gas. The owner's manual specifies a compatible 20 lb LP cylinder with a QCC1 Type 1 connection. The propane tank is not included.

Can I use it indoors?

No. This cooktop is for outdoor use only in a well-ventilated area. Follow the owner's manual for placement and keep combustible materials at least 24 inches away.

Does the ignition need a battery?

Yes. Install one D-cell 1.5 V battery beneath the cooktop as shown in the assembly instructions. The battery is not included.

What cookware can I use?

Use stable, flat-bottom pots and pans sized to the burner. Keep the flame within the bottom edge of the pan. The manual also describes using a griddle, which is not included.

Is assembly required, and are tools supplied?

Assembly is required. The manual lists a Phillips screwdriver and wrench as required tools that are not included. Follow the illustrated assembly sequence before connecting the propane supply.

Does the standard KT2435E include a protective cover?

The standard KT2435E listing does not include a protective cover. AP-KT2435E is separately listed as a package with a cover. Check the package name before ordering.

How should I clean and store the cooktop?

Turn off the gas, disconnect the LP tank and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning. Use warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth. Dry the parts fully. Follow the manual's storage instructions and leave a disconnected LP cylinder outdoors.

What warranty applies?

The KT2435E has a one-year limited warranty. Register your product on the FEASTO website for an additional year, for a total of two years. The warranty applies to the original purchaser under normal residential use, subject to the exclusions and conditions in the owner's manual. Keep the dated receipt, model number and serial number for service.

This 5-burner propane stovetop and cabinet is an excellent addition to our outdoor kitchen. There are 4 different sized burners (1 extra-large, 1 large, 2 medium, and 1 small). I am extremely pleased with the quality of this unit. The unit was nicely packaged with all metal and stainless steel well protected in the box. The unit was simple to assemble thanks to a nicely illustrated manual. The unit comes with both 4 caster wheels and 4 rubber bottom adjustable feet. This allows you to have mobility if needed or if placed in a more permanent outdoor kitchen, you can use the feet (see photo). I used the casters and the wheels rolled effortlessly, even on our uneven slate tile, and with a full propane tank inside. The stove requires one D-sized battery (not included) for the igniters. I only wish this unit came with a cover. Outside of that, I am extremely pleased with the quality, appearance, and functionality of this item. While I've only used it once, I would highly recommend it.
